Secure Your Booking with a Deposit : A deposit is required to confirm your place. By paying the deposit you are confirming you have read and agreed to Adventurous Women's Terms and Conditions.  Please note that deposits are non-refundable, although partial credit may be available. Please see below for more details.

AW Members: If you are an AW Member at the time of booking, a $100 discount will be applied to your final payment.  If you are not yet a member and would like to become one, please take out a membership here

Note: Each tour requires a minimum number of participants in order to proceed. This ensures good value for our guests and supports the sustainability of our small business. Once the minimum is met, we’ll notify you that the tour is confirmed.

If the minimum number is not reached, you will be informed at least 90 days prior to departure, and all monies paid will be fully refunded or transferred to a future booking. Please note that we are not liable for any third-party costs (e.g. flights, insurance, transfers) in the event of cancellation.

Booking Terms and Conditions

In the event that Adventurous Women cancels a tour or is unable to guarantee the departure of the tour due to not meeting minimum required numbers, we will provide a full refund.

Notice of cancellation by you must be in writing, with an email as an acceptable form of communication, directly to Adventurous Women with the following conditions:

• 90 days + prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit - Partial voucher available*

• 75 days + prior to trip departure - Loss of deposit

• 74 days or less from the start date of the tour - Loss of all monies paid

• No refund is available after departure of a tour has commenced.

*Where you cancel a multi-day tour booking more than 90 days prior to departure and have paid a deposit, we will issue a $250 voucher for use on a future tour with an 18 month validity date from the start date of the original tour. This voucher can be used towards the deposit on a future tour, or it can be used towards your final payment on a tour. If you are using one of these vouchers to pay for a deposit and if you subsequently cancel that tour, no voucher is available.

No refund is available after departure of a tour has commenced. We highly recommend taking trip cancellation cover through your travel insurer to cover you for unforeseen circumstances that may lead you to have to cancel your participation in the tour.

• Adventurous Women Tour Leader
• An experienced, professional English-speaking Bhutanese guide(s)
• Accommodation on a twin/share basis with optional single rooms at a surcharge
• Private transportation with driver in Bhutan
• Activities and excursions as listed in the itinerary, including entrance fees and permits
• Airport pick up in Paro on day 1 and transfer on day 10 from hotel in Paro to Paro Airport
• Bhutan’s Sustainable development fee ($900 USD per person)
• Bhutan Tourist Visa
• Meals as listed in the itinerary
• Meals: 9 breakfasts, 8 lunches, 9 dinners

Price excludes:

• International flights
• Regional Flight Bangkok-Paro-Bangkok or Kathmanudu-Paro-Bangkok (prices / schedule released in June)
• Drinks at meals other than water
• Meals not specified in itinerary
• Transfer in Bangkok/Kathmandu on day 1
• Transfers/services in Bangkok on day 10
• Tips and gratuities for guides and drivers
• Expenses of a personal nature such as laundry, drinks, etc.
